The famous Indian Runner ducks cross the lawns at 9am and 12pm daily — a free 15–30-minute spectacle. Families also have an outdoor playground and open farm space, while Geuwels serves casual lunch beside the duck route. No pets are allowed.
Franschhoek Cellar has a covered outdoor play park with childminders advertised by the estate, plus play houses, a bike track, toys, giant chess and shady lawns. The restaurant has a children's menu as well as boards, snacks and full meals.
