Jonkershuis is a lovely family-lunch option at Groot Constantia because the outside tables sit beside the front lawns where the children can play. There is also indoor fireside dining, a covered courtyard, breakfast and pre-booked picnics. In winter it is open Sun–Thurs 8–5pm and Fri–Sat 8–9pm; summer hours are Mon–Sat 8–9pm and Sun 8–5pm.
