Buitenverwachting is an easy Constantia wine-farm outing with Coffee BloC for breakfast or lunch, a takeaway deli and broad lawns where families can enjoy picnic-style platters in the warmer months. Bring your own blanket; self-catering, lawn tables and pets are not allowed. Coffee BloC is open Mon–Sat 8–4pm, with the kitchen closing at 3pm, and the farm is closed on Sundays.
Lawn picnics depend on the weather, and no self-catering is allowed — the platters are bought on the farm.
