Clay Café, Hout Bay

This combines ceramic painting with a landscaped garden and outdoor playground, so children can move between a table activity and active play. The R45 studio fee includes three paints, tools, glazing and firing, and you then pay for the ceramic item you choose. The family restaurant has children's, vegan, vegetarian and separately prepared Halaal options.

Open Mon–Sun 9–5pm, and book ahead for weekends and school holidays.
