KommetjieThe farmyard at Imhoff has its own party area, in the shaded space where children feed and touch the ponies, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, emus, rabbits and birds. It suits toddlers up to about eight.
You book either the morning slot up to 1pm or the afternoon slot from 2pm, and pay the venue fee only for the hours you need. There is undercover space for 40 people and you may decorate it as you please. The farmyard is self-catering — the restaurants do not serve into it.

Parties at the exotic-animal sanctuary that used to be Butterfly World, with monkeys, meerkats, birds and reptiles to wander between. It works for all ages.
Party bookings are on enquiry and normal zoo entry is charged per person on top. Most of the sanctuary is covered or indoors, so it holds up on a wet day, and keepers run animal demonstrations at 11am and 2pm at weekends and in the holidays.
