Artjamming — Steenberg Village

Birthday parties at the new southern-suburbs painting studio in Steenberg Village. Every guest gets an apron, a canvas and the run of non-toxic acrylic paints on tap, with brushes and all the tools, and everyone goes home with the thing they made.

Choose a paint party on a 30×40cm box canvas (R230 per child), a 30×30cm canvas with a printed design (R290), a personalised printed canvas with a paint-by-numbers option (R300), paint and slime with a 25×36cm canvas and 125ml of slime (R300), or a slime-only party where each child makes 250ml to take home (R180). An optional snack pack (Lay’s, Smarties and water) is R45 per child, and you can ask them about a birthday cake.

🎨 Party pricing is dependent on the size and quantity of canvases selected. A minimum of one canvas per guest is required. The venue does allow self-catering.

Bring your own serving dishes and take everything home afterwards, or ask about their catering. Book at least 2 weeks ahead and confirm final numbers 3 days before; a 50% deposit secures the date. It’s non-refundable, but it’s held as credit for 6 months if you move the party. For 6 or more children over 6, they recommend drop-and-go, though the birthday child’s parents are welcome to stay. Exclusive use of the studio is for groups of 30 or more. Send guests in old clothes, as acrylic paint can stain.
