Wild Wild West Kids Play Park

Parties at the Somerset West indoor play park, which has separate toddler and big-kid zones, a highline balance course, a ninja-warrior course, a six-level climbing maze, slides and a climbing wall, with a restaurant for the grown-ups and a children's menu. It is one of the few dedicated party venues in the Helderberg.

Packages are per child for two hours in a private room: R135 if you bring your own décor and party boxes, R185 adds a filled party box, juice, themed bunting, décor and a balloon centrepiece, and R220 adds table décor and a kids' lunch. Ages 0–3 have a R60 party pack. Minimum 8 children, maximum 40 across two adjacent rooms, and the adults come in free. Slots are 9–11am, 12–2pm or 3–5pm Monday to Saturday, and 9–11am or 12–2pm on Sundays and public holidays. Running over is R200 an hour for the room plus R50 a child. Own cake is R200 cakeage or R15 a cupcake, and theirs need a week's notice. On the R135 option the party boxes you bring may hold one small drink and sweets a child; everything else to eat and drink comes from their Saloon.
