The nearby SAS Assegaai display area is free, but guided tours inside the submarine cost extra.

Free aviation museum with historic aircraft, engines, uniforms and military-aviation displays. Saturday morning is the best family visit because the main aircraft collection is inside the secure part of the base.

Phone ahead because access to the aircraft hangars is controlled by the active air-force base. Bring ID for the gate, and photos are only allowed inside the museum and hangar.
