Kiddies Aqua — Parklands

The Cape Town branch of a swim school that has been teaching since 1993, in a heated indoor pool with no more than three swimmers per instructor. There's self-rescue for babies from 6 months, learn-to-swim for ages 2–12 in 20-minute lessons, stroke correction, a one-on-one special-needs programme, and adult lessons and water aerobics. Your first lesson is free, there's no joining fee and it's month-to-month. The national guide is R665/month for one learn-to-swim lesson a week and R905/month for babies, but each branch sets its own fees, so confirm with Parklands.
