Brainline has been teaching at a distance for close to forty years and was the first home-education provider recognised by the IEB, so a Brainline matric is an IEB matric. It covers Grade R to 12 through an online platform with teacher support, and for families without dependable internet there is Brain-in-a-Box, which ships the Grade 4–7 curriculum on a USB drive to work through offline.
