Tokara

An elegant estate high on the Helshoogte Pass with sweeping views back over False Bay, known for its modern art collection and sculpture-dotted gardens as much as its wine. Tastings cover both wine and their olive oils, and there's a deli alongside the restaurant. Peacocks wander the grounds, which children tend to find more interesting than any of the art. Wide open lawns for kids to run and play.

Children using the playground must be supervised by an adult. The playground has no shade, so bring hats. The ground level suits ages 2–4 and the treehouses ages 5–13, and you can see it from the deli.
