Tokai Allergy & Asthma is run by Dr Ina-Mari McAlister, a general practitioner with postgraduate qualifications in Allergy and Asthma care. She provides a dedicated allergy and asthma service for the whole family, including babies, children and adults. She has a particular interest in atopic eczema and food allergies in infants and young children, as well as allergic rhinitis and asthma.
Consultations focus on understanding symptoms, identifying possible triggers where appropriate, and creating practical treatment plans that fit into family life. Allergen immunotherapy, including subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) and sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT), is also available for selected environmental allergies.
