The easiest family route to the top of Table Mountain, with a rotating cable car and broad paths, viewpoints, a café and toilets at the upper station. Online return tickets valid from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 cost R475 for adults and R230 for ages 4–17; under-4s ride free. Buy online before travelling, but allow for queues on clear weekends and school holidays.
Strong wind, cloud or annual maintenance can suspend the Cableway at short notice. A ticket does not remove the boarding queue.
