Nippers at Strand in U8, U10, U12 and U14 groups, teaching water safety, rip currents, flag signals and the fundamentals of lifesaving. The 2026/27 season started on Sunday 11 October 2026 and runs to the last week of March, during government school terms. Sunday mornings are the regular session and Friday evenings are optional.
Every child passes a pool swim test before sea training: 100m in five minutes for U8, 300m in eight for U10, 400m in ten for U12 and 400m in nine for U14. A nipper checklist, agreement, health questionnaire and indemnity are all required.
