Skilpadvlei works in both wet and sunny weather because the restaurant has a colourful indoor playroom as well as a large outdoor play area. Outdoor tables have a good view of the playground, but the indoor playroom cannot be seen from the restaurant. Children can also join the tasting experience with a non-alcoholic sweets pairing for R55.
