Silvermine is a mountain reserve with short walks, picnic and braai areas and the Silvermine reservoir. Until 31 October 2026, entry is R44 for SA-resident adults and R22 for children, or R200 and R100 for international visitors. Gate 2 opens 8–6pm; the other open access points follow sunrise-to-sunset hours.
