SANCCOB Penguin & Seabird Centre

A behind-the-scenes look at a working seabird rescue and rehabilitation centre rather than a conventional animal attraction. Cape Town tours leave hourly from 9am, with the last at 3pm; the 30–45-minute children's version includes penguin learning activities and selected behind-the-scenes areas. SA adults pay R65, children aged 3–12 pay R55 and under-3s enter free.

This is an active rehabilitation facility, so access and what families see depend on the birds receiving care that day. Penguin feeding is at 11am and 3pm. If a bird is being treated during your tour you may see it, which can upset sensitive children.
