Mamma’s Plants

Weekly kids potting workshops — a relaxed, messy play session for moms and kids aged 2 to 5, hosted in a homely Rondebosch setting. Each child gets seedlings, pots, soil, plant markers and decorative stickers, and goes home with four flowers or herbs and a terracotta pot. There is tea, coffee, treats and muffins for the moms. Workshops are themed — past ones have been Herbs, Flowers, Pot Painting and Veggies — and run for an hour and a half with a maximum of eight guests, so it stays small.

R250 per child, or parents can buy a bundle of sessions.
