A beautiful fynbos reserve on the Helderberg slopes, with shaded picnic lawns, bontebok, birdlife and trails ranging from an easy family wander to serious mountain routes. The 2026/27 City tariff is R30 for adults, R20 for ages 3–17 and free for under-3s. Start around the lower lawns with little children and choose a mapped trail only if everyone is equipped for the climb.
