A weekend market in a converted apple warehouse with a wonderfully industrial, steampunk feel — high ceilings, exposed steel, and stalls spread over multiple levels. Food, local crafts, clothing, art and toys, live music, and lots of seating inside and out.
It gets very busy and loud when the train arrives, so early is better with small children. It's also about an hour from town, so a day-out listing rather than a local one — though the train itself is half the appeal for kids. The full market is the weekend; Wednesday and Friday evenings are a smaller set of food vendors and the bar, and the Steam Coffee Shop is open on weekdays 8:30–4pm.
