Earthworx Garden World — Hout Bay

The big one in Hout Bay: a well-stocked nursery in a leafy setting, with a children's playground and the Roots Farm Shoppe café on site — so you can let them loose while you browse, then sit down for a toastie and a coffee. Organic fruit and veg, farm eggs and fresh juices from the shop too. Staff are knowledgeable and easy to spot in orange, there's a resident nursery cat called Socks, and they do landscaping and party hire as well.

Childminders are on duty in the play park, and the café overlooks it.
