Bless a Baby
A volunteer-run, donor-funded NPO packing essential baby bags for new mothers in vulnerable circumstances across the Western Cape. Bags go to 12 partner government hospitals and clinics, where maternity nurses hand them to the moms who need them most. Three bags: Love (mothers facing extreme hardship, including teen moms), Hope (moms with little support in the first weeks), and Dignity (toiletries for new mothers post-birth). Get involved: their workroom at El Shaddai Christian School in Durbanville runs sessions through the week for families, individuals and corporate teams to sew and pack. Donations welcome; community drives and annual charity Par-Teas.
They don't give bags to individuals, only through the hospitals.
